Hello

Find out how the IBEW and Local Union 379 can benefit your electrical company by providing skilled manpower, simplified benefits, and access to the best apprentices powered by Carolinas Electrical Training Institute (CETI) and Southeastern Line Constructors Apprenticeship & Training (SELCAT).

You ask how can my company partner with IBEW LU 379

First Step Contact IBEW LU 379

Considering starting a new electrical business preforming commercial, industrial, or line work or already have an established company and want to find out what the IBEW can offer your company. Reach out to us by email (ibewlu379@ibew379.org) or call us 704-455-4595 to set up a in person or online meeting. Generally this meeting is about an hour, no commitment, strings, or pressure, just an open conversation to find out what are your needs are and how we can plug in and help your company.

Second Step Sign A LOA (C)

Signing a Letter of Ascent or LOA (C). This is a simple(1) page document that lasts 12 months and during this 12 months you will operate as a signatory contractor using skilled manpower from IBEW LU 379, CETI and SELCAT and working under the CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) on all projects. If after 6 months you are not satisfied with this partnership, all you need is to notify us in writing and at the end of 12 months you are no longer signatory with the IBEW. All benefits must be paid.

Or Third Step Sign A PLA

A PLA or Project Labor Agreement is simply how is sounds, your company and the IBEW agree to work together on one project at one location. A PLA would utilize the same Letter of Ascent (C), but would only be in affect for the length of the one job or project. During this job you would have access to all skilled manpower, apprenticeship, and simplified benefit structure under the CBA.
